We’re approaching a time of massive love and power on our planet – when, we’re told, the Buddha and the Christ pay special attention to events on earth.

The ageless wisdom teachings have been distilled into a series of books written by one of the spiritual Masters – a Tibetan disciple known as DK – and an Englishwoman who was called Alice Bailey. According to these books, the time of the Taurus Full Moon in May, and the following Gemini Full Moon in June, are the most auspicious two-months for us at this time in our planetary history.


Sharing Love and Power
The information given in this volume of work, draws from the wisdom of humanity and the spiritual guides of our race and the planet. It includes writers like Helena Blavatsky, Rudolf Steiner, Plato, The Bhagavad Gita, Goethe, Socrates, Shri Krishna, and Mohammed, including documents pre-dating known history, distilling knowledge and wisdom across all disciplines, cultures and time.

The key to all this wisdom is simple: it’s about relationships of love and power, and the way they manifest in intelligence on our planet. We humans make constant and daily use of our intelligence to express love and power in either a positive, healing way or in a destructive, hurtful way.

Usually when we’re doing harm, we’ve forgotten about our relationship to everything and everyone else; we’ve forgotten that we’re all here by virtue of the fact that everything is based on the principle of sharing.

Whether in the natural or human world, every ecosystem, society and relationship is inherently a sharing of something. It’s so simple and prosaic that our minds think it’s got to be more complex; it’s got to hurt to be true. But really it’s about remembering our relationships of love and power and how we use these immense forces in our own lives.

Relationships of love
If we choose to open our minds, reaching beyond our conditioned thinking, we can sense the rightness of this simple fact. Life is about cooperation, not competition. We feel our intuition thrill a little at being loosened from its confines as we liberate our consciousness into this thought.

With this shift in our thinking we liberate, not just ourselves, but all the elemental lives that live in and around us. The ageless wisdom teachings tell us that this is our basic purpose on earth – to free the prisoners of the planet – the elemental lives of which we and all things, are made. This may sound weird and too esoteric but it’s really very practical. It’s just about honouring the sacred in all life.

This time of the Taurus and Gemini full moons is an opportunity to consider what we think of this task and whether we resonate with it. We’re told by DK that at the moment of the Full Moon in Taurus, known in the East as the Wesak Festival, the Buddha and the Christ will come closer to us here in physical substance, than at any other time in the year. What will that mean to each of us? Or to the prisoners of the planet? And why would they bother?

Perhaps, as the teachings suggest, it’s because this is the time when all of us can be blessed by the energies emanating from these two great entities. Not blessed like a dab of holy water, but blessed so that we can, in turn, distribute and share what we have received with all, right down to that nano-particle on the end of your finger.

We can share this blessing in many practical ways – ways that demonstrate that what is given is ours only if we pass it on. And we do that by showing we really understand. This means using our intelligence to anchor the reality of what we understand by the term ‘relationship’ in our daily lives. By living ‘as if’ to start with – fake it before we make it. Living as if we really love all people and all beings; all forms down to the tiniest molecule in the natural world. This, we’re told, is the right use of our immense power; our power to think and love and will.

Full Moon Taurus
In the words of the Master DK, at the time of the Full Moon in Taurus, ‘the Buddha will sound out a great mantram and become the “absorbing Agent” of the first ray force. He will use the magnetic power of the second ray to attract this force to Himself and hold it steady, prior to redirecting it.

The Christ will then-on behalf of the Hierarchy-become the “receiving Agent” of this potent energy and the seven groups of Masters Who work with the human and sub-human kingdoms will (in response to His demand) become the “directing Agents” for the sevenfold expression of this force.

At the time of the Gemini Full Moon, the Hierarchy will, under the guidance of the Christ, let loose this will-to-good upon humanity, producing seven great results, according to the seven sub-rays of this first ray of will or power:

1.Power will be given to the disciples of the world and the initiates among men, so that They can direct efficiently and wisely the coming process of rebuilding.
2.The will-to-love will stimulate the people of goodwill everywhere that hatred will gradually be overcome and people will seek to live together cooperatively. This will take some time, but the inner urge is there and subject to stimulation.
3.The will-to-action will lead intelligent people throughout the world to inaugurate those activities which will lay the foundation for a new, better and happier world.
4.The will-to-cooperate will steadily increase also. Individuals will desire and demand right human relations-a result more general than that produced by the activity of the first three aspects of this ray, but which will be a natural outcome of this activity.
5.The will-to-know and to think correctly and creatively will become an outstanding characteristic of the masses. Knowledge is the first step towards wisdom.
6.The will-to-persist (which is an aspect of devotion and fixed idealism) will become a human characteristic-a sublimation of the basic instinct of self-preservation. This will lead to a persistent belief in the ideals presented by the Hierarchy, and the demonstration of immorality.
7.The will-to-organise will further a building process which will be carried forward under the direct inspiration of the Hierarchy. The medium will be the potency of the will-to-good of the New Group of World Servers and the responsive goodwill of mankind.’

This downflow of energy is all about receiving from ‘above’ to share with that which is below and beside. That’s the basis for the cross of service.

Full Moon Gemini
The Tibetan Master DK goes on to tell us that, ‘At the time of the Gemini June Full Moon, each year, the love of God, the spiritual essence of solar fire, reaches its highest point of expression. This it achieves through the instrumentality of the Hierarchy, that great group of souls which has ever been the custodian of the principle of light, of enlightened love, and which always-down the ages-focusses its attention upon the race of men when the spiritual influence is at its height. This it does through one of the great Sons of God. ’

Love and Service
The love of God, focussed in the Christ and then through each of us, seeks to express itself in some act of useful service to humanity. We’re told that ‘This service has taken different forms down through the ages. The saving principle of pure love finds its expression at the hour of humanity’s greatest need in the work of a World Saviour and “for the salvation of His people, He comes forth.” ’

Even if we find it hard to accept the idea of being saved by an outside force – if we insist that humanity can do it alone – we can still love and serve, and many of us do. It’s becoming hard wired into our DNA now as the concept of service enters mainstream parlance.

This concept of service is based on an understanding that we are in relationships of mutual benefit based on cooperation and love.

Relationship of Love and Power
So that fact of service and its motivating force love, is now both a concept and a tangible activity utilised across the board by business people, politicians, educators, and scientists to name a few. It doesn’t matter that it’s used with differing motives – with degrees of self interest. It’s being anchored into the planet through human use and that’s what’s important. Christ and others have made it clear that it’s only through the service of humanity – serving each other and the lower kingdoms – that we can all be liberated: ‘and I, if I be lifted up, will draw all to me’. (John 12:32)

Service is pervading our collective psyche and that’s good because it’s the platform for the next phase in our evolution which is we’re told, to bring a perfect and complete alignment between the forces of Love and Power. For this next phase Christ needs the help of the Buddha, and this is why they both come close to us at the Taurus Full Moon. This is why we’re asked to accept the blessings bestowed on us at that moment.

As a group across the globe, we assist the Christ and the Buddha to invoke, hold and then dispense these energies of the second Ray of Love held in Hierarchy and the first Ray of Power held in Shamballa.

In DK’s words: ‘…the time has now been reached when Shamballa can be contacted and its energy evoked. Hence we have the activity of the Buddha at the May Full Moon and that of the Christ at the following June Full Moon. Their united activity serves to bring about a much closer approach between the Lord of the World and the Hierarchy, via His four Representatives: the Buddha, the Christ, the Manu, and the Mahachohan-the five points of energy which are creating the five-pointed star of Humanity at this time’.

This star is the shape that reflects our heritage as beings made of star matter, and that augers our potential to once again shine.

This may be why it’s worth paying attention over the next two months. If powerful energies are seeking to manifest on our planet, then why not be a conscious part of this auspicious event? All we have to do is willingly shoulder the incoming power and love in thoughts, words and acts, helping to lay the foundation for a new and better world for every person, animal, plant, and microcosmic particle of star dust.

THE GREAT INVOCATION

From the point of Light within the Mind of God
Let light stream forth into the minds of men.
Let Light descend on Earth.

May Christ return to Earth.

From the centre where the Will of God is known
Let purpose guide the little wills of men-
The purpose which the Masters know and serve.

From the centre which we call the race of men
Let the Plan of Love and Light work out
And may it seal the door where evil dwells.
Let Light and Love and Power restore the Plan on Earth.

Today, on a large scale, the glory of humanity is already a fact in our consciousness. The wonder of humanity’s achievements and our understanding of the natural world are testimony to this. Our amazing scientific attainment and the magnificent evidence of our creative art—both modern and ancient—leave no room to question man’s divinity. According to Alice Bailey,(1) these are the “greater things” of which Christ spoke and the true examples of the Christ within the human heart.

‘Why this triumph of the Christ consciousness must always be spoken of in terms of religion, of church-going and of orthodox belief is one of the incredible triumphs of the forces of evil.

To be a citizen of the Kingdom of God does not mean that one must necessarily be a member of some one of the orthodox churches. The divine Christ in the human heart can be expressed in many different departments of human living—in politics, in the arts, in economic expression and in true social living, in science and in religion.’ (2)

It’s worth pondering religion and the churches as an expression of the forces of evil. It helps to change our perspective – dissolving the veil of illusion and glamour that religion has drawn around itself – so that we can return to the simplicity and wisdom in Christ’s words. Like the Buddha who said, ‘Be a lamp unto your own feet’, if we live according to the principles spoken of by both the Christ and the Buddha, we can light our own way, feeding the good in ourselves and adding to the greater glory of humanity.

Great words of reconstruction are being sounded forth from “the secret place of the most high,” and those words of reconstruction must not fall on deaf ears but must stimulate into activity those who can and will respond. Such a great word is going forth at the full moon of each Wesak.

The great need today is the development of the intuition and the discrimination of the disciples of the world. They must learn to sense the higher vision, to respond to the day of opportunity, and to achieve the higher conscious relationship.

The intuition must therefore be developed in the group, and the sense of values must be far more adequately adjusted, before it can measure up to requirements and fulfill its function which is to inaugurate the New Age.

The downpouring of spiritual force at the time of the Wesak Festival has for its objective the stimulation of the intuition of the grouped disciples, aspirants and men and women of goodwill.

As we read the Ageless Wisdom contained in the books by Alice Bailey, we become aware of the supreme opportunity that humanity has in this world period, to play a pivotal role as a co-creator in manifesting planetary Purpose, according to the divine Plan. This Plan, Bailey says, is the template for the New Age.

The Tibetan Master known as ‘DK’, who co-wrote these books with Bailey, tellus us that humanity’s role is to, “act as a transmitting centre of spiritual forces – soul force and spiritual energies united and combined – to the prisoners of the planet and to the lives, held in embodied existence in the other kingdoms of nature.”1 We’re told that this is the goal for every human, and when we’ve achieved this goal, the ‘prisoners’ will be released, including ourselves.

Prison is an Illusion
As we know, it’s not really the form that keeps us prisoner. The prison guard is only our consciousness dangling the keys before our veiled eyes. While we’re immersed in the illusion of separateness, not realising the relationships of light and love that connects us all, we’re imprisoned by our thoughts, words and actions.

How then are we to overcome this illusion so that we can release the prisoners? We can start by considering who the prisoners are. In human terms prisoners are people who’ve rebelled against social laws and consequently have had their freedom and their freewill, significantly curtailed. As below, so above. Human laws only strive to mimic spiritual laws. Spiritual laws are the thought form of a greater entity in whose aura we live.2 Any human, or any form in any kingdom is a prisoner if they have
rebelled against spiritual law, consciously or unconsciously, and we know that it’s only at the human level that this becomes a real free choice.

We’re told that our Logos is not a sacred planet and so it seems reasonable that we’re influenced by His personality’s thoughts and feelings. If we go with the flow, we’re living as part of the personality of the planetary Logos who is not yet be able to perfectly manifest systemic laws through His forms, and so we also live imperfectly – we rebel. If we live as disciples, striving to know and manifest the Soul in our own life, and as part of the planet, we’re assisting the Logos to manifest according to the spiritual, systemic laws of love – the laws of the solar Logos whose consciousness governs all systemic life. 3

We’re all prisoners in need of more light and love. We share this prison house with every other atom of substance. Starting with ourselves and assisted by the opportunities to serve that life offers, we can fulfil our task to transmit spiritual force to the lives held in embodied existence – we can redeem matter. Redeem may sound a bit religious but it’s been defined as the means to free from what distresses or harms; to free from captivity by payment of ransom; to get or win back.4

When we redeem matter we’re freeing it from distress and captivity and winning back something in the process. We’re working with the systemic laws of love to free the soul within and win back or release it as light, from its imprisoning form. The light can no longer be contained by its prison walls and it’s liberated to become part of a form that can more clearly reflect its luminescence.

In the Secret Doctrine, Helena Blavatsky tells us that, “Matter is the vehicle for the manifestation of soul on this plane of existence, and soul is the vehicle on a higher plane for the manifestation of spirit, and these three are a trinity synthesized by life, which pervades them all.” 5

As Blavatsky says, it’s only the illusion of separateness from our Source that stops us identifying with something far greater than our personality, or even our soul. We’re living in a big vortex of spiralling-cycling substance which is of varying mass and different density, moving at various speeds, generating a myriad of shades of heat, light, colour and sound. This means that we’re all related to each other and to everything else, because we’re all one with this immense body of manifestation – it’s just that we’re not yet fully conscious it.

Our task as the centre called Humanity, is to reunite ourselves, and all creation, back to be with our Source. This process is redemption, described in The Gayatri as our journey back to that which is “hidden by a disc of golden light” which is the centre,“ From Whom all things proceed, To Whom all things return”. Using this ancient prayer we ask to, “Know the Truth,” because we sense that these three worlds and all we know are not the whole Truth. This illusion of separateness from our Source provides us with the ideal environment in which we can transmit spiritual force and carry out our redemptive service.

Right use of intelligence is the prisoner guard’s key
The Ageless Wisdom tells us that we’re living in a centre in the body of the Deva Lord Agni. He is, “the vital life of the cosmic etheric…the vitality of the Heavenly Men and the activity of Their sheaths.” 6

It is the intelligence in substance that enables it to be organised so that it can live and move and have its being in a rotary-spherical orbit as part of this Devic entity. Whether part of a molecule of water or a human being, this substance has been redeemed from the primordial mud by the fiery spark of mind which is channelled to us all via the Deva Lord Agni. This is the story of evolution – the unfolding journey of the soul in each atom of life struggling to liberate itself from the murky sludge at the bottom of the pond, upwards through the stalk, leaves and petals, to eventually sit in perfect glory as the jewel of the sacred lotus flower.

This light of intelligence is the child of the relationship between Father-Spirit and Mother-Matter, creating the spark of livingness which is the Son, or Soul. This intelligence holds the divine Purpose, like the family jewels, safely stored in the DNA of every particle of matter. All intelligence thrills when it is imbued with love. It dances, jumps and reaches out towards the source of that love, creating heat and light, just as our heart sings when we have a ‘eureka’ moment of understanding invoked from our soul via our mind and brain. Soul is matter, matter is soul depending on the level of light showing through each kingdom – as radiation in the mineral kingdom, perfume in the vegetable kingdom, devotion in the animal kingdom or wisdom in the human kingdom.7 With each act of redemption, the return path comes more clearly into view, the divine Purpose is revealed a little bit more, and the Plan is served.

Systemic laws bind us and release us
The Ageless Wisdom tells us that the third Law of Economy is the law that was embodied by the Third Ray Logos of the previous world cycle. We know that His manifested effect is electricity or intelligence while that of our current Logos is magnetism or love. Electricity or electric fire runs the show in the three cosmic physical planes that we call home, so we could say that all we experience is the currency of an old technology, yet this electric fire houses our heart and soul, the solar fire or magnetism. We know that life’s experiences, courtesy of fire by friction, provide the heat and light which must burn up the maya, glamour and illusion that veil the increasing brilliance of solar fire.

This is the redemptive process. As we work to fan the flames of our solar fire, the group soul, we’re obeying the second Law of Attraction and Repulsion, using the magnetic-attractive energy of love, to increase matter’s intelligence, redeeming it and fulfilling our divine task. Every moment that we create a thought, we’re facilitating relationships between and among molecules of substance, and depending on what we think and how we think it, we’ll be working as white or black magicians.

The more we work within the Law of Love, the more we realise that worlds live within worlds, above and below, within and without, so that eventually we begin to understand that all worlds are sacred because each atom is a world of potential. Like the acorn, every particle of matter-substance holds the blueprint to be a human, a planet or a solar Logos. The quality of the oak tree that grows from the acorn will depend on the quality of forces that act upon it from the moment it seeds itself into the earth and continues its evolutionary journey. In the same way, the quality of the forms we are creating each moment of our lives are influenced by the forces we are bringing to bear on them by the quality of our thought.

Glimpsing light through the barred windows
We may ask ourselves why we need to make all this effort to think consciously and transmit spiritual force when we can’t even see what we’re creating. What we do know is that there’s an inherent drive in humans and all life to strive towards being more. If we do nothing, then this forward rotary, cyclic motion towards ‘more-ness’ will probably continue. But, as the Secret Doctrine tells us, “Man has not ceased to exist upon the Moon because it is dead and cannot therefore support his life, but the Moon is dead because man and these deva groups have been removed from off its surface and from its sphere of influence.”8 It’s likely that the evolutionary urge to better conditions – the lure of the return path – was driving the life-form on the Moon, resulting in their being transferred to this Earth to continue their evolution in a more appropriate environment.9

On the Moon, or any planet, humans and devas always act together as intermediaries or transmitting agencies. This is an exciting concept because it indicates again the important place that we, and the devas, under the governance of the Deva Lord Agni, play as creative, directive, manifesting agents. If we deny ourselves this role and do nothing, we may be contributing to a delay in the Logoic plans. As everything is interrelated and interconnected, a delay in our planetary Logos’ plans will have consequences reverberating around the solar system and beyond.

If we do something then we’re being courageous enough to reach out with our thoughts and actions, to hang ourselves over the precipice so that we can unhook the keys held firmly by the guardian of our imprisonment. Using our capacity for love we can shed the armour of the lower concrete mind, so sure of its footing in the physical sensory world, and venture forth into the apparently dark and foreboding, yet warm and alluring world of devas. This realm, so long feared and vilified like the feminine in every human and the natural environment we all share, must now also become a reality to us.

We’re told that, “There are many types of life to be contacted on the four etheric levels, and concerning the deva life we must remember that this evolution is of equal importance to the human.” 10 This devic world pulls an etheric veil around itself until we approach them with love. We gain the right to see more deeply into the mysteries of our mirror image as we purify our personality bodies, approaching via the higher devas once the fire-by-friction of the lower mind is under our control so that the Law of Economy comes under direction of the Law of Love.

This feminine evolution is also intensifying its efforts, under law, to make contact with us so that the etheric light can be more easily seen. “Man should communicate to the devas the objective point of view, while they in turn will pour in on him their healing magnetism. They are the custodian of prana, magnetism and vitality, just as man is the custodian of the fifth principle, or manas.”11 It is our task to make the unseen devic realm objective; by becoming conscious of them. We can begin to see through the veils and find our true other half, our soul mate, our devic counterpart. Then, as DK beautifully puts it, we can “meet as friends” making the unity of life a physical fact.

Practicing in prison with time on your hands
Given this enticing information is often beyond our immediate capacity to manifest, we can still aspire to act, in very practical ways, as a transmitting centre of spiritual force to the prisoners of the planet.

We know that the Arcane School service activities such as Triangles, World Goodwill, and the Full and New Moon meditations are suggested activities in which we can participate to further this task. We can also use the minute-to-minute opportunities that we enjoy as humans with freewill to make choices: to build higher prison walls, or to use our creative imagination to dissolve the veils that apparently keep us, and all life, imprisoned.

Perhaps we can imagine, using the ‘as if’ attitude, that we and the devas are like the planetary gardeners. We’re working with the three worlds of the cosmic physical plane, the three fires of active intelligence, the paddocks full of rich composted soil ready to be ploughed and sown with new seeds. We take our bag of love and light filled full from our daily meditation and sow it into this rich soil and immediately, the elementals that are the substance of the soil-matter, set to work vitalising, forming, encouraging and managing these new life forms for us, building the forms for the new civilisation and culture.

As gardeners we’re facilitating agents, organising, directing and engaging the natural elements into a rhythm and ritual, overseen by the devas. We are assisting in the redemption of elemental substance by enhancing its purpose, from a boring if useful rotary, cyclic motion of individuality, into form-building based on bigger, better relationships of coherence. We are directing them into the planetary rhythms which we understand as the laws of love and the will-to-good, to express more of their inherent order, intelligence and harmony.

We set them a task, to build something of beauty, and this they do with glee because it is their divine role to serve in this way. We’re told that when the human and deva centres in the Logoic body have achieved their task of perfecting matter by bringing together creative activity or intelligence and love, then the planetary Logos will have attained His goal for this cycle. We can all help Him achieve this by transmitting spiritual force with as much continuity of consciousness as possible in our regular meditation work, our service activities and our daily lives.

How does Transition change your life? Utterly, completely, forever. Sometimes you put your life on the line for a vision. It is a small light that burns inside you on a cold day. It appears to take everything you ever loved away, and then it gives you everything you have ever loved back. It’s a return story. It’s our return story. The story we tell the world, as we walk down the mountain, in the dark, together.

The Sun is transiting through the fire sign of Aries during April, and we have the opportunity to create new beginnings. Well ‘new’ means ‘beginnings’ doesn’t it? Yes, but new can also mean creating the same old, and that’s not new, it’s recycling.

There’s a place for recycling, and it’s related to the stuff and things we own and no longer want to own – the things we want to throw away. Then we recycle the cans into metal which are re-moulded; or the paper into something else. We’re not really creating anything new, just changing its form.

Lots of things that are proclaimed as ‘new’, like a new type of mobile device, or brand of cereal, are really just a re-cycling and re-forming of an older version. The new one may work a bit faster, brighter, smarter, or taste sweeter and crunchier and have less calories, but the new things are essentially the same as the one they’ve superseded.

What does ‘new’ really mean? New can be ‘news’ – all the events of the day that we think are new things happening. Or it can mean something or an event that’s been recycled; it’s usually something that’s different from what has been; something not previously known, or not familiar.(1) I guess Christ stated it succinctly: ‘And no man putteth new wine into old bottles; else the new wine will burst the bottles, and be spilled, and the bottles shall perish. But new wine must be put into new bottles; and both are preserved. No man also having drunk old wine straightway desireth new: for he saith, The old is better.’ (Luke 5:36-39)

The secret of Aries is the secret of beginnings, and that’s what ‘new’ really means. New cycles of emerging opportunity. (2) We’re emerging from the previous sign of Pisces, which governs endings, in preparation for this new beginning. Alice Bailey tells us that Pisces governs the Science of Divine Dying as in death by drowning. (3)

Sounds worse than death by chocolate? Only marginally: Both are to do with getting too much of something until we’re so satiated that we feel we’re drowning in the experience and we need something new. Too much of anything is more than we need and most of us have a safety switch that alerts us to change or suffer the consequences. On an esoteric level this is called crystallisation because we’ve focussed our desire so strongly that it’s ready to shatter. We’re ready to give it up – to die to it and be re-born to a new and higher level of desire for experience.

We push the boundary of equilibrium represented by the polar opposite sign of Aries which is Libra. This sign represents the striving for harmony and balance; of eating just enough chocolate to get a hit without excess. An air sign, it gives us time to reflect, before stepping out again into the fiery experiences of Aries. Libra is rules by Venus, the planet of love-wisdom.

This love is a building energy, drawing forth the best, the fiery livingness within each atom of matter. It encourages coalescence, unity and form-building, as much as the Aryan fire of the will provides the destructive breaking down of forms. But living in a dual universe like ours, Aries fire is also creative, visioning the forms to be built. Libran love-wisdom can also be a destructive energy, through the tendency to hold onto equilibrium, stasis ensues and decay sets in. We then feel compelled to push the boundary of this bubble to burst it – we need fresh air; new life.

In our world governed by the laws of constant movement and change, equilibrium is akin to the noble middle path of the Buddha, but it’s often also an illusion. Aries and Libra represent the two sides of one coin. Both extremes of activity and inertia cycle in and out of our lives, leading eventually to crisis and change. Unless we lift our consciousness to a higher level, we keep repeating this cycle.

Extremism as Therapy
Although painful, we humans need the extremes to learn. Our planet seems to also be going through some sort of growth spurt if natural disasters are anything to go by. There’s nowhere left to hide and continue business as usual; the only escape is through Divine Dying.

So the smart bet is on embracing the mood of change and taking responsibility for it in our own lives. Embracing the real meaning of ‘new’ – which in Aries means being willing to enter the Science of Divine Dying as death by fire.

The ‘Old Commentary’ describes this as, ‘The fire blazed forth and through that fire I died to life and so was born to death. And then again I died to form.’ (4) Now, with the Sun in Aries, we have the opportunity for purification by fire – but are we ready? We’re told that the Christ is the only person so far, who has managed to walk the purifying fires of Aries.(5) Death by fire or burning in Aries liberates us eventually into the centre called Shamballa, where the Will of God is known. It’s the real birth of the new.

This death is voluntary and joyful. It involves renunciation of anything in our life that is only for the little, personality self. We renounce out of our love for humanity because now there is no difference between ‘you’ and ‘me’. To serve others, is to serve our Self. In so doing we are also serving the kingdoms in nature and the divine planetary purpose because it’s all part of the One life.

Whether conscious of it or not, we’re all at different stages in this process of renunciation – from the swimmer driving herself through the physical pain threshold to win the Olympic gold, to the businessman focussing every thought on how to grow his empire, to the spiritual seeker on the path back to the Source. All are on some level of the spiral of life that is driving us on to:

Aries and Will Power
Aries channels the first Ray of Will or Power which expresses itself through the great creative process. (6) The goal of this process is to demonstrate that: ‘Matter is the vehicle for the manifestation of soul on this plane of existence, and soul is the vehicle on a higher plane for the manifestation of spirit, and these three are a trinity synthesised by life which pervades them all.’ (7)

In other words, the spiral of life is a trinity, or three levels of being-ness – intelligence, love and will – and we’re each expressing these qualities in varying ratios and to different degrees. This one life expressing as three spiralling, interwoven arms, guarantees the fact that we’re all one as a human family and with the kingdoms in nature, as well as with the higher or superhuman levels. Perhaps the explosion in the popular media of everyday people being portrayed as both superheroes and as sub-human species like vampires and werewolves is a sub-conscious awareness of this fact.

Many can testify to moments when we realised that our thoughts can be as low as the lowest animal or criminal mind, or equally as pure in aspiration as the most revered and saintly. Humans can imagine all states of consciousness and that is our power – the power to create is ours – how do we use it?

We can see this power being misused all the time – the way we use our personal power to manipulate others or to get what we don’t really need. The way leaders and groups use their power to get and maintain control over others. This is the negative side of the first ray – the will-to-power. It can also be used positively: to redeem our personality, constantly challenging ourselves to discard habits, things, people or places in our life that are no longer conducive to our soul growth and service. At the same time, we can use the first Ray’s Will as a creative fire to vision and birth new ways of being.

Intensifying the Sacred in Matter
This is the key to the redemption of matter, or the use of creative visualisation and meditation to intensify the fiery spark of sacredness in each atom of substance. We create as we think and speak. If we try and intuit the greater purpose for our life and the planet, then we’re creating the new in its true nature. We’re igniting the tiny flame, the nucleus within each atomic particle, enhancing its consciousness, so that it can burn more brightly.

We may do such a good job of visualising, and fuelling the flame that it burns with more heat than it can contain. It spins faster and faster until its nucleus, flings away its encasing matter, and is liberated. This is the Divine Science of Dying on an atomic level. The nucleus is free to create a new, more alive, vibrant and healthy form suitable to its enhanced consciousness. As with an atom of matter, so it is with each of us, or with the planet itself. It’s only ever the form that dies; never the consciousness or soul within.

Our psyches are being reborn constantly, and the faster we burn with livingness, the harder we fan our flames of aspiration to love and serve. This quickening challenges us to see our thoughts, beliefs, attitudes, fears and phobias in a new light so we see what is holding us back from being more of what and who we truly can be.

We can see that the flames of Divine Dying by fire are beginning to burn our civilisation and culture(s) as we have known it. The world is changing. Its form and its psyche are ready to be created anew, but it can’t happen overnight for birth comes from the best of the old. The Libran energies will strive to keep a balance within the burning fires of transformation. We need the cooling love-wisdom of Venus, so that the flame still alive in the old is fanned and nurtured to lay the foundations for the new.

Our aim is to balance the forces of fiery death, with those of fiery love. As creative thinkers, consciously using our thoughts, we can meditate and deeply ponder what we want our future to look like. Then together, as a group, we can imagine and visualise it into being. This is the work of white magic. And this is the primary task of the new group of world servers.

In our meditations, let us remember that we are never alone, but part of a group that, in turn is part of the larger group of world servers. Each of us plays our part, in helping to intensify the sparks of life in matter which are the building blocks for the new culture and civilisation on Earth.

We are making a documentary about people who are creating positive change; change that benefits all humans, the natural world, and the whole planet. They are Diamond Dogs.

If you’re an individual or group who’s working on the cutting edge of social, environmental, political, healing, scientific, technological, educational, spiritual, artistic and economic change, then we’d like to hear from you.

The film will look at why we need people like this, what they’re doing, how they’re doing it, what motivates them, and how we can get involved, or create our own positive change initiative.

Diamond Dogs are people making positive change happen.

We’re now entering an exciting, high energy phase of the year beginning with the Aries Full Moon in April. This full moon heralds the start of three major spiritual festivals which form the high point in the annual cycle of the Sun through the twelve signs of the zodiac. You may have noticed more insights and inspiration, and an intensified need to make positive change happen in your life, or the desire to be of more service to others during these three months of April, May and June. If so, that may be due to these energies pouring into humanity and the planet and being anchored by meditating groups globally, making them available to us all.

These are the Festival of Easter (at the Aries full moon), the Festival of Wesak (at the Taurus full moon), and the Festival of Goodwill (at the Gemini full moon).

Through the steady, persistent meditation work of people in all parts of the world these festivals are becoming more broadly known. At each of these full moons, we come together to meditate on and celebrate the many manifestations of the divine in humanity and nature. We also take advantage of these higher energies to ponder on and help fan the flame of the greater purpose inherent in all life.

According to Alice Bailey (1), these festivals are the first three of what will eventually be twelve festivals, celebrated at each full moon. She says that eventually we’ll all recognise our oneness with each other and with the three lower kingdoms, and that during these full moon celebrations, we’ll come together to contact the divinity and sacredness that’s in us all.

These twelve festivals will eventually reveal to us once again, our common spiritual heritage based on inclusiveness, respect, goodwill and recognition of humanity’s divine purpose on Earth.
