Working with awareness of the spiritual flow of energy can help us make best use of the opportunities presented by the moon's phases.
During the first half of the lunar cycle-from new to full moon- the available energies are growing, intensifying, and absorbing, while in the second half-full to new moon- they are assimilating, consolidating and distributing qualities.
It's like sowing the seeds during the new moon phase and then reaping the harvest after the full moon phase.
By observing this cyclic law we can make more progress with our meditation by aligning our attunement, visualisation, thoughts and actions, with the flow of spiritual energies.
This helps to prevent emotional, mental and psychical congestions of energy with its effect in the physical body.
