During the first half of the lunar cycle-from new to full moon- the available energies are growing, intensifying, and absorbing, while in the second half-full to new moon- they are assimilating, consolidating and distributing qualities.
It's like sowing the seeds during the new moon phase and then reaping the harvest after the full moon phase.
By observing this cyclic law we can make more progress with our meditation by aligning our attunement, visualisation, thoughts and actions, with the flow of spiritual energies.
This helps to prevent emotional, mental and psychical congestions of energy with its effect in the physical body.

At present there is no one who does not need courage. Only utter madness whispers that all will find order by itself - this cannot be! Because the dark ones have set aside the basic principles not knowing now to govern them, one should walk undivided in everything.

Humans once saw planets suspended as huge spheres in the heavens. Immersed in the charged particles of a dense plasma, celestial bodies 'spoke' electrically and plasma discharge produced heaven-spanning formations above the terrestrial witnesses. In the imagination of the ancient myth-makers, the planets were alive: they were the gods, the ruling powers of the sky - awe inspiring, often capricious, and at times wildly destructive.
